On bus stops
At public transport stops, the Smart Guide receives a radio message from the Equipment containing the name of the stop and relays this message to the User. Additional messages are sent about the buses that serve this stop and their directions of travel. The latter function is available only if the Speaking City system server has received this information, for example, from the municipal transport server, according to an established protocol. The Equipment has a built-in audio transmitter which Users can activate to help them locate and navigate towards a bus stop.
On public transport stops a user with his SmartGuide can receive information about the name of the stop, types and numbers of public transport serving the stop,, their directions and if necessary their schedule. There’s also a ringer on the stop helping the user to quickly find the stop at his request.
In Sochi 96 bus stops are equipped with our system, relaying information including bus schedules.
